WEBINARS
"
As the world was hit with the COVID-19 pandemic, all aspects of life had to change, from in-person, to behind our devices.
Though navigating to these changes may have been challenging, we still had to find a way to keep our content alive, our audiences engaged, and stay informed upon important topics such as funding for higher education for our students, as well as a guidance on how to buy your first home in the United States.
With my passion in public speaking and creating experiences, we switched gears to host webinars - all virtually.
This gave me an opportunity to sit down with our speakers, ask questions from the live community chat, and share messages to thousands of people, online.
The Korea Daily’s 14th Annual Home Loan Webinar
For first-time home buyers, purchasing a home takes a lot of research. We wanted to allow Korean & Korean American communities to have access to this knowledge, in their own language, to inform our audiences in the most trustworthy and easy-to-understand manner of the resources that stand.
SHALOM CENTER is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) faith-based organization founded in 1997 that provides comprehensive housing counseling, training and client advocacy services to help low- & moderate-income homebuyers and tenants in the Los Angeles County and Orange County areas secure and maintain safe and affordable housing.
This YouTube webinar was held live, with a private link, and broadcasted on our YouTube channel through The Korea Daily’s homepage. It held ~1,000 live viewers.
(The information in this video is not to be shared or taken fully into consideration as policies and funding change year to year.)
The Korea Daily’s College Scholarship & Financial Aid Webinar
Every year, we have students applying to colleges after their high school graduation. Though there are a multitude of resources out there for students and parents to research, we wanted to make this easier and answer the questions that our communities’ students and parents had at home.
AGM Institute is a source for college financial aid planning, education, and training. They have a client management system which maximizes the accuracy of financial planning services for both students going to college and students currently enrolled in college. AGM Institute has a vast database network of thousands of colleges and their financial aid information, helping clients understand the financial aid system and how to maximize its value.
With AGM Institute, we held a webinar where students could tune-in to hear about their FAFSA options, financial aid opportunities, and the best ways to complete a considerable application, also allowing students to ask questions on the YouTube live chat channel and get them answered in live-time.
